We eat traditional food from the region and drink the world's best bike coffee in some of the charming coffee bars we pass. You have the support of our bike shuttle which transports your luggage and is available when needed and when the hill is too steep.

PROGRAM FOR THE TRIP

DAY 1, ARRIVAL IN SAN PELLEGRINO TERME
We will pick up you and your bike at the airport and welcome you to San Pellegrino Terme. We check in at the hotel and we store our bikes in a locked space in the basement. Depending on your arrival time, it is possible to go out for an afternoon bike trip in the valley. In the evening we gather for dinner and pep talk for upcoming days and adventures.
Food included: Welcome dinner

DAY 2, MONTE ARERA, THE FLOWER PATH AND CHARMING VILLAGES - About 37 km, 1900 climbing, 2490 downhill
Good morning and time to leave! After breakfast we load our bikes and our luggage on the shuttle. We have about 30 minutes drive to the start of our adventure. The start is at the top of the mountain Arera and then we meander down and up the paths. We have lunch at Rifugio before we take the technical Flower path. The day ends with a descent through the villages and we meet up our shuttle to take us up the asphalt road to our next day's starting point.
Food included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

DAY 3, FROM THE VALLEY UP TO PASSO SAN MARCO - About 35 km, 2700 climbing, 2150 downhill
Today is a challenging day but we start with the lift up to 1500 m altitude where the rolling grass hills and the view take over and we start our pedaling towards the larger mountains. Here, technical downhills, some lifts and narrow passages await you. A short break in the village with coffee provides a much-needed energy boost. Today we pass our highest point on the tour, passo Forcella rossa and a lunch will be an excellent opportunity to enjoy the view. After lunch we go down the mountainside and have our last ascent for the day - 10 curves, all numbered and we count them together .... The destination, our accommodation, Rifugio Passo San Marco, welcomes us with cheers and a hot shower. Evening dinner and a good night's sleep will be nice for tomorrow's adventure.
Food included; Breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner

DAY 4, MORESCA VALLEY AND CHALLENGING FREERIDE - About 40 km, 1966 climbing, 2992 downhill
After a good breakfast, one of our best slopes awaits, right outside the door! We meet the cows and pass the mountain cottage Cantedoldo which marks the start of the technical part. Here we wind our way down steep sections, switch backs and rocky sequences - but calm down - we take the time we need and everyone should join.
We gather in the village of Averara for a cold drink and then go further on today's real climb.

We cross along the mountain wall to finally step up towards Piani dell 'Avaro on the asphalt road. Lunch at classic Rifugio and then go on the downhill again. Forest roads with breathtaking balcony roads, drops and varying surfaces that end with flowing paths. Now we are soon on our way to this night's hostel and evening dinner.
Food included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

DAY 5, OVER THE MOUNTAINS WITH A GLIMPSE OF LAKE COMO - About 30 km, 1400 climbing 1230 downhill
Time to go up and over the mountain range where we get a glimpse of the beautiful Lake Como and if the weather is nice we see the peaks of Monte Rosa. We go up to Piani di Bobbio and then down to charming Moggio via a technical descent with exhausting surfaces in all its forms. For our second climb of the day, we take help of the lift and we arrive just in time for lunch at Piani di Artavaggio. Here we will stop and enjoy the tranquility, the mountain environments and the good food. We have a quiet afternoon with a little extra time for recovery and rest. Something good to drink on the terrace, a walk in the surroundings or a visit to the neighbours who make the famous and good cheese.
Food included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

DAY 6, TALEGGIO VALLEY AND FORWARD TO VAL IMAGNA - About 41 km, 1835 climbing, 2030 downhill
If you are alert and have strong legs, we start with a summit bike and rounding of our favorite mountain, Monte Sodadura and one of the most beautiful trails we have, flowing, bumpy and a cruel end in the forest. Now we take the trip to our last valley, Imagna, and we have a climb on white roads to bring us up. We enjoy grassy plateaus and Mount Resegone. Lunch is taken at Agriturismo and we arrive safely at our hotel in Fuipiano. At the hotel we enjoy the beautiful relax area before dinner.
Food included; Breakfast, lunch and dinner

DAY 7, BACK TO SAN PELLEGRINO TERME - About 30 km, 500 climbs, 1500 downhill
It's time to close the circle and return to our starting point, San Pellegrino Terme. We go down Imagna's valley on donkey paths and hiking trails, pass small villages and finally land on the bike path along our river Brembo, all the way to the hotel - The adventure is over for this time and we celebrate and toast together
Food included; Breakfast, lunch and dinner

BOENDE
During this tour we stay in different hotels, cottages and Rifugio along our bike ride. Sometimes the accommodation is of a simpler class with dormitories, bunk beds and a shared toilet in the corridor. Sheets & towels are always included. We live ladies and gentlemen in dormitories. The Rifugio and B&B are charming and are often run by families who live and work in the area. For the evening's dinner, dishes are prepared with products from the area.
BIKE
For the best experience on this tour, BRING YOUR OWN BIKE. A full suspension bike suitable for enduro / freeride. As we cover many kilometers and hours in the saddle, it is good that you are used to your bike and it has settings that suit you. Do not forget the most common spare parts and the parts that are directly specific to your particular bike. You book a place for your bike on the flight and we will pick up you and the bike at the airport. You bring private equipment such as knee pads, elbow pads, helmet and pedals. Feel free to contact us for questions.
RENTAL BIKE
This is a trip where you should bring your own bike for your comfort during the challenging ride. If you still want to rent a bike down on site, please contact us well in advance and we will book a good bike for the purpose and your size.
INSURANCES
Do not forget to check insurance so-called "accident insurance" for any damage to your bike and that the insurance applies to you and the activity that you are about to do. Please bring your EU healthcare card, if a visit to the hospital will be needed.

It does not include flights or other means of transport to the start of the trip. We recommend Bergamo / Orio al Serio Airport and Milan / Linate or Milan / Malpensa. Ryanair flies to Bergamo from most major European cities, Easy Jet from Stockholm and Copenhagen to Milan. Lufthansa also has flights to Bergamo.
